I have a Shield K1 tablet and love it. A great size for gaming tablt. And it did fit in my pocket. However newer androids and games can't run. I kept hoping there would be a next Shield but that isn't gonna happen. Thanks Nintendo. Ended up getting a Tab S7. The most powerful Android tablet at the time. Wish this had been around. @@riduwanhorreandriano9364 haven't really used it in a while since the main games I play won't support old Android device. And it really works well with the 5.1.1 (I believe) that it came out with. Plus I dropped it and cracked the screen. Speaking of which. I always loved how the screen of that worked. Pretty much any pointy object worked. I got most of my info from XDA sevelopers forums and software use the one provided by nvidia itself. Then decide what to block, disable or remove. And had to run much at knower res or kimmiting the cores it uses. Many apps worked better when set to only 2.

I just purchased this from an online retailer from China and can safely say it comes preloaded with Google Play Store and that the settings out of the box were in English. I just had to go into the settings and change my country to United States. I've been using this for the past 3 days since I got it and loaded all my apps and they work great! The screen and sound just blows the iPad mini 2021 version out of the water. I wanted a Samsung Tab S8 but the 11" is too large and more pricey. I'm so glad Lenovo gave this beast of a machine with a microsd card ( loaded it with my 1TB and it's solid ). Android 11 is new to me so I'm still learning all the newest features. As for gaming, I've only played Into the Dead 2 and it's not as demanding as a COD game but it's smooth as butter. One more thing: battery life is outstanding!

@Tom Harris Not active stylus. Already bought the Lenovo P11 Pro and a second hand Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite since I posted this. I hate the P11 Pro's touch response when it's propped on a desk (no problem when held, though) and I hate the in-screen fingerprint sensor on the Note 10 lite, but at least both supports active stylus input and that's what matters in my line of work.

Honestly if you're looking for a mini tablet for gaming, hate to say but the ipad is still the best. Developer support and optimisation is just better on that platform. Genshin runs better plus also has native controller support.

I love the concept, we need more actual TABLETS, not those oversized slates that no one can actually hold like the Garbage Tab S7, or iPad Pro. The screen looks *really* dim though. Did you have the brightness down? It looked far darker than the AMOLED-using XiaoXin tablet which is odd since AMOLED is a horrifically dark format typically.

@@techguygamer2023 5 days here to Europe, 372 totally shipping included, TBH the 12gb is not needed since the ZUI keep closing the apps in the background plus the android 12 even more restricted but saves a bit more battery. Pro tip: Buy the cheaper version, Use SD card and put all apps on the sd card(Have to do the work around)but I confirm its possible. Conclusion:12Gb Ram is kinda useless on this device since rom keep deleting background apps most of the time. (Unless you root and tweak it but then again more apps in the background more battery sucking? lol) Overall I highly recommend this device without a doubts charge fcuking fast very satisfying and plays long sessions. Fcuk Yes. Extra note: On the 8GB ram version you will get around 4 GB ram available to use which is plenty enough and the apps on the android 12 is compressed sized even more make more room for storage which is excellent. No Throttles from heat whatsoever, except hitting the low battery mark around 10 percent from what Ive observed.

Great device for gaming. Screen size is great for that with a decent telescoping controller. I'd love to see some emulation tests for Wii, PS2 and perhaps Switch/3DS though in addition to normal Android gaming. Global ROM would also be nice so hopefully Lenovo will bring the tablet West.

The main problem with gaming tablets/phones isn't the hardware. It's the lack of games. In every single review they always show Genshin, World of Tanks, PUBG, Modern Combat 5, or Asphalt 9. It's those handful of games over and over and over again, because that's really all they have. At least all that truly pushes the hardware and justifies the state of the art chipsets. And Modern Combat 5 is years old at this point. Mobile gaming's problem is that most "games" released these days suck, they're ad ridden simplistic lazy cash grabs that offer bare minimum gameplay. Something like sorting colored balls or something like that, that's the face of modern mobile gaming. I wish we still had the innovative spirit of 10 years ago. Back when there were loads of things coming out. Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds, Infinity Blade, Archetype, there was always something new and fun to play. Not anymore. Makes gaming focused phones/tablets needless.

I really miss games like Zenonia, Chaos Rings series, N.O.V.A. series, Modern Combat, Infinity Blade, Angry Birds, Oceanhorn, Shadowgun, Riptide, and other premium priced games. I am still not over people griping over paying over $9 for a quality game like Chaos Rings which was near the quality of a full PSP game back in the day for less than a third of the price. I remember even $1 games were said to be toouch but people have no problem paying hundreds for cosmetics and gachas.

It's a great tablet, better than ipad mini 6.
