I was 16 when 500 pounds came out, I was too young to get into Barrymore’s when you played there but we went anyway and sat on the curb outside. You played so gloriously loud we heard every note. I’ve since seen you countless times but it was that night that I’ll never forget. Thank you for sharing your art with us all. Much love GJ ✌️

For a hard rockin' dude you have barely aged at all man. Road miles are hard miles. You still got your vocal chops. Prime genetics.

Awesome! One of the things I admire about you Gordie is that you’re always reworking your songs. So many musicians get hung up on just playing it like on the record, but you let the songs breathe free and grow!

Two things: 1. You got that Charlie Watt's hi hat thing going on (not hitting the HH the same time as the snare), 2. Those Vistalites rule. Play on, player.

THAT was the first song I learned beginning to end (my family was happy lol)...after my mind was blown wide open at the Commodore all those years ago. GJ explained how KISS blew his mind....Big Sugar that evening steered my musical journey along with their generosity always autographing stuff. Thanks again for this Friday ritual:))))))

Hello from Winnipeg. Any idea if I you (or anyone at Power 97) still have the Studio 97 version laying around? You played a Mandolin or Ukulele (I think?) and did a bunch of songs.

Do you have trouble adjust from playing one of your explorers or that big ol' guild when you switch to an SG? I always find my SG feels like a toy after I've been on my other guitars... SG sure do scream though!

I play SO many different instruments that I don’t really notice. In one day I’ll play drums, bass, steel guitar, Trés, banjo, a Flying V and a Strat. Then do some keyboard overdubs😂
