Filipino singers knows the songs they will sing. Before the show of course there are rehearsals. They don’t need a monitor to read they are masters in memorizing their lyrics and music. They don’t have worries in following their music.

firstst time seeing someone react to this video of Lani and Bituin.I never thought a lot of people would be requesting this video. Usually fans would request "Magic Flute" by Lani Misalucha, Darren Espanto and Jona.

Shows in the Philippines, you get to rehearse a few hours on the day itself, they are daily/weekly shows, so no amount of time to rehearse longer. Just show how good our artist are, they can sing/perform anytime at any condition and not afraid to make any mistakes. Filipinos are more foregiving if they make a mistake or would loose voice during LIVE PERFORMANCE and the audience will carry on the song for the singer/performer during concerts, but we are NEVER forgiving to artists or singers who LIPSYNC unless your act is really to lipsync and not a signer. In fact, we even lauded a filipino actress Ann Curtis who can't sing a tune, but has sold-out concerts.

I went to see LANI in Manchester England last year, shes not only a Great singer but shes a very funny LADY as well, she has a wicked sense of humour, there was a lot of people at the concert that had never seen of heared of her but boy did she bring the house down, the atmosphere was a bit subdued at 1st but as the concert you could feel the atmosphere changing to the point that no one sat down after they got a feel for her, she was absolutely magnificent, a lot of where saying its the best concert they have been too, check out LANI and MORISSETTES joint concert its a must watch, from a vocal standpoint i think it was a benchmark concert for both of them 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

I think Filipino singers don’t really mind not having IEM, nice to have but no worries if there’s none. The shows go on. I hope you will have a chance to watch Tawag ng Tanghalan live. Btw, SB19 performed on KTLA without ear monitors.

Regarding echo: I think it's a matter of taste. I noticed that many Filipinos will boost echo and reverb to 11 in karaoke. I'm not a fan of it, but everyone else seems to prefer hearing their voices bounced back to them again and again, LOL.

Our choir would practice in the most adverse, open air conditions weeks before concert to help us keep our notes on point on the day of performance. It would have been slightly easier if lani and bituin were close together so they can feel each other even without an IEM. Likewise, it all boils down to practice, we sometimes sing on different points in the room but this will be somehow easier if you have sung with the same set of people for so many times and on regular basis as one will be familiar on how to place oneself when singing with them. I hope i am articulating this as it is difficult to explain unless one has sung in a choir seriously

I love watching your reaction videos. It is rare for us to see our singers wear ear pieces or ear monitors. And I also remember when Whitney Houston died it was saturday evening in the US and sunday morning here in the Philippines. We have sunday music variety shows around linch time and so we were pleasantly surprised when they were able to come up with a whitney tribute 3 hours after her death and it was the day when Regine made a comeback after giving birth. Their tribute was amazing! You should react to it
