I noticed a bit of a fringe rule case at 15:38 - the Thunderstrike Missiles do 7 damage if the target is in the 5-6 range, but with the range boost sponsor card it's possible that they could hit at 7 range. I guess you could interpret that as meaning that they only do 6, but it seems like the intention is to reward someone using that weapon for shooting at distant targets. Maybe it could be reworded to say that the missiles do 7 damage if they hit at 5 range or greater.

amazing, love the art style(has that cool pop punk vibe) and the original gameplay, would love to see a digital version of this board game for easier play when your not at a lan party, the lore is great, would love to see an anime series or a video game within the gkr universe.

+1 to that. This game is already set up to perfectly be ported over to a strategy type video game. I can't wait to see this one hit Tabletopia or the like so I can play it with friends around the world. Already backed the board game as well though just to have it for those occasions when we're all together in the same place.

Should be "OR". Clearly these cards and other paper stock pieces are just printed and cut out. Pre-preduction as noted in the video. Still nice catch. I think you deserve a Hapsi for paying extra special attention.

The only question I have from watching that is "Why would you ever not want to Overtag?" It seems silly to put your tag on a building and not replace someone else's. Is there some kind of penalty or reason to not overtag every time that you tag a building with someone else's already on it?

If I understand corectly you tag on the spot closest to you, so placement plays a big role in it. If you can safely put yourself in a position to overtag you should try to always do it. So I gues only drawback to overtaging would be if you are needlesly puting your heavy hitter in danger.

I see that now. They had their buildings oriented wrong so that the slots for the tags didn't line up with the hexes so it looked like they were just randomly placing them. Somewhere towards the end of the video, one of them pointed out that the buildings were set up wrong and adjusting them made the tags line up, but it was already too late to bother fixing it. That makes a lot more sense.

Hey Weta, was just reviewing the rules and I have a question: at 18:36, orange over tags green's tag, but green was given 2 sponsor cards. Does that mean that even if a tag is overtagged in the same round it happened, the initial tag still awards a sponsor card? Thanks, very excited to play this game!
