Maybe if Lillian had been a supportive parent she wouldnt be alone on Christmas while her daughter ran away from her abusive step father. Lillian was never a favorite of mine. Sleeping with her best friends husband and then showing up to Maureens funeral pretty much formed my opinion of her. I really wish they would have written her out. Her character never brought much substance to the show

It was infuriating watching her in denial the whole time Beth was obviously being abused by Bradley. He was obviously more important to her than her daughter.
