Wish I had seen this guide before wasting 90 tickets following other guides that suggested tenacity sets amongst other things that did not work. Used the mods and strategy here and 6 wins in 6 battles. Thank you so much and keep up the great work bro. PS: used crit damage triangle instead of crit chance on Rolo. Rolo speed 304, and han 260. Potency 124 and 114.

That's the thing for me - the tenacity guidance in other videos makes no sense. Great, you maybe resist a few DoTs, but you can't damage Vader. Eventually, he's going to land some and start healing through the little damage you can put out. What's the endgame? Just get very very lucky? Thank god I found this video.

Thanks for the great guide! I went 3/3 with no problrm whatsoever with your recommended mods setup and didn't lose any tickets! ROLO: 322 Speed, 60k Health, 50k Protection, 116% Potency CHS: 288 Speed, 62k Health, 50k Protection, 113% Potency Your most important tip for me was to use ROLO's special at the beginning to (hopefully) get ability block on Vader and then blitz Vader with basics and C3PO's mass assist!👍

Thank you very much for this guide. The mod targets and strategy were a huge help. I'd failed my first two tries, so banked tickets to do major mod work and try to complete it in one go (because remodding is the worst). Was able to go 3/3. The first fight was a little hairy when Leia went down and Han was Ability Blocked, but I still managed to salvage it. Exposes were certainly the key. So thanks for making this absolutely miserable tier manageable. Still stressful as hell going through it, but it's finally over. And boy, tier 3 is a cakewalk afterwards.

Thanks a lot man, your strategy works! My Han had just 216 speed and it was sufficient. Just a small detail, the phase you show is phase 2. You have first to pass phase 1 and be prepared for phase 2. The first battle I tried I used C3PO and ROLO specials extensively including at the end of phase 1 so I lost phase 2 because I couldn't use specials. For the second battle I spared the specials and used only basics, then I entered phase 2 without any protection left, so I lost. So you have to balance carefully phase 1, use specials at the beginning of the battle to weaken the troopers so that you don't get too much damage, and finish the battle with basics so that you are out of cooldown. Then it worked like a charm for my 3rd and 4th battles. Probably obvious, but better when stated.

Folks recommend xaereth's video, I went with the short video and chose to use your video. Went 3 for 3. On my second and third run I put health on ROLO before going into phase 2 and used ROLO aoe at the start of Phase 2 battle then used basics. On the second run. I must have got lucky with the aoe, because it softened up DV and took away all of his protect, but in third run it did nothing. Thanks for the video.

This is the first video of yours that I’ve come across.. but damn I’m I glad it popped up. Was certain this was going to be terrible watching other guides but after seeing how your clips made it look so easy I jumped right in! CHan 282 Speed 136% Potency ROLO 281 Speed 123% Potency Vader died so fast! I never lost a single character!! I feel bad for all the people I saw in other videos applying zetas & having less than 50% win rates. I’ve got 178 Zetas (all my opponents in Kyber 2 have atleast 100 more than me)& can’t afford to waste them

Absolutely amazing. I was pretty afraid, cause everybody has bee saying that, even with the mods, it was a rng-s*it show. I got 3, didn't even break a sweat. ANd I wasn't even able to get that speed high.

Possibly because I mostly had level-A and B mods with ROLO at 206 speed and Han at 191 speed, my first two attempts were really close, but didn't quite get Vader down. I re-watched the video and tried again and got the rng for 3 wins in a row. ROLO with 125% potency and Han with 133%. Thanks.

First 2 battles went down easy. In the third battle Vader took out ROLO and there was no coming back even after revive. Battle number 4 was even worse. Gotta collect some tickets now. I was hoping to get it over with in one sitting. With the last two failed attempts I am a bit discouraged. Updated: three LS refreshes later I had another tickets and got the last 20 shards from that tier. Now I have to move those mods back.

Missing ability block 6 times in a row with 130% potency is such a pisstake. Hate this stage, but slightly less than when I did it on my alt and all the advice was "use tenacity!". Thanks for the video, took 4 battles to get the 3 wins.

I don't think so? It seems like for the tenacity to really be worthwhile, you need pretty insane tenacity which I don't think you can get unless you really full commit to a tenacity guide. The potency is really for the exposes, not the ability block on ROLO (though the ability block is pretty important), so potency on both characters is important. If you're interested in tenacity, you might investigate Xareth's video, but that was a strategy I really struggled with to get to work. It seemed far sketchier, more dependent on ability blocks, required two zetas, and seems to require pretty insane tenacity. BUT I do know it worked for several people as well!

Is it worth using ROLO's AoE on her 1st turn to try to get the AB or just do basics on ROLO and CHan the whole time? From your explanation, it sounds like only use basics, but in the attempts you showed, you used ROLO's AoE on her first turn every time.

Always start with the aoe on the first turn. But if you don’t get the ability block, it’s always going to be situational, but rarely would I try the aoe again

Depends on if Vader did the basic, aoe, or merciless. If he just did the basic, I would be inclined to try the aoe again to prevent dots and a merciless.

so you can get well over 100% potency on rolo with just 1 potency set + good secondaries. ... is there an advantage to going above 100?

I'm not sure I have a solid answer for that question. We don't know what Vader's tenacity is so it's hard to say. I tested it with someone this morning and we dropped from like 120% potency on cHan to like 90% to add some extra tenacity or survivability in protection, and both yielded similar or worse results (with over 100% tenacity we resisted no more debuffs than we did with 50% tenacity, and the survivability didn't change much if Vader hard focuses cHan), so I would probably say going all in on potency is worth it since the exposes are so crucial.
