@@laurencecorr7255 The WD stands for War Department. During WW2, Britain’s military engineers tought them how to drive steam locomotives from tank engines to tender engines. At 11:30 in the video you can see War Department Austerity 2-10-0 3672 (the green loco) double head with another locomotive. Hope that helps!😊
