Totally normal for a glacier to calve ice.

A glacier calving ice is totally normal. Yes, the earth is in a warming phase, and yes -- man is contributing to it, but not causing it 100%. Nature has its own cycles. 400 million years ago, before man was ever on earth, Alaska was a tropical swamp filled with alligators and acquatic dinosaurs. And everytime a major volcano blows in present time, it puts more greenhouse gas into the atmosphere, than man has since the Industrial Revolution. So, keep things in perspective!
