We stayed in Hungry Horse park. We had a 36' motorhome and towed our car. I was amazed that it was still daylight at 10 pm, but at 2 am, it was so pitch dark that I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I got to take a picture of a Mountain Goat at Logan Pass, and it turned out to be one of the best pictures I have ever taken. This was in June of 2005 and there was way more snow on the ground than you saw when you were at the pass. The snow piles were 6' tall along the paths.

LOL, I had to watch that "livin' in a van down by the river" ending a few times. My sides ache from laughing! Thanks for the Saturday morning Glacier Park tour. It certainly is beautiful. I'd guess the hungry horse may be named after wild horses coming there to graze, or not. So Mini Vinnie should have had his high pressure bath by now and be a clean boy for a day or two. Adventure and dirty vans seem to go hand-in-hand, or should we say the tires-on-road 5 o'clock shadow. Happy trails to you both. 🚙🌲🤗🤗

That's definitely not how you make huckleberry pie. If you ever come through Lewiston Idaho I will make you a huckleberry pie 🥧. That was an injustice to this wonderful wild berry .😜
@kathyerikson6372 жыл бұрын
I love huckleberry pie! That is not true a true pie.Huckleberries are very expensive to buy since they are wild. Local pickers tend to sell huckleberries they pick. I’ve made homemade pies before and you make it like a blueberry pie . Plenty of berries and I don’t use much sugar. They are more tart than blueberries. It is sooooo good. Also good are huckleberry daiquiris.

Saw your method for cleaning your French press. Seems to me that you might still be getting grounds down the drain. If you put a paper towel in a pop up colander you can pour the grounds into it as well as the carafe rinse water. Then just let it drain through with no grounds down the drain.
@LivinRVision2 жыл бұрын
No grounds get past the paper towel if done correctly. It’s all about less mess and quick for us. Great idea though. We did consider that years ago when we started doing this but this worked better “for us”.

For those of you who only visit Montana, you come during basically a 2 month window. For 8 months we’re under ice and snow lmao. It’s brutal on roads not to mention there’s only a 3-4 month window to fix roads. That road, even the dirt part, is much better than most of California’s roads LOL
