If the fgc thought of this game like a joke before, this is not helping at all. They should be focusing their efforts towards a new, more refined game, but the fact that they are still releasing stuff for this game makes me think this is the end of the road for the franchise... Raven Manuel *beware the bothersome fanboy damage control* As long as microsoft cannot handle a fighting game straight like they do with Forza or Gears of War there won't be a single AAA KI game. *N* *E* *V* *E* *R* Feels like Killer Instinct are the bastard son of microsoft who receive a pair of sockets as a gift while the others are awarded with a brand new car or bike. This indifference with KI makes me hate what they're doing to this poor franchise. Thanks to them it still unknown by the people they had targeted for their market, the casuals. The worst part it's how they had no criteria on choosing it's developer. Now it became utter generic even more than the original games. With all sorts of things nobody gives a single fuck like shadow farts. The damage control are useless at this point. They better give it AAA budget next or their small fanbase will shrink to the point it would be cancelled before it's launch. So kerp your eyes open wide, stop being a fanboy and require a decent treatment for this franchise.

My most favorite part of this fight choreography is at around 0:08 when Glacius punches the ground with one hand. It really brings out Glacius' characters! The part at 0:10 with Glacius kneeling on both knees and punching with both fists does not bring out his characters, in my opinion. From 0:13 onward, Glacius looks awesome, especially with the details with the gills fluttering. It shows a strong presence without trying. I think that's one of the best ways to bring out the strength of his character. Suggestion: The spines on his body should retract inward and only come out when he's in certain modes.

I'm sure I'll have fanboys dissect me for this. I admit that I was asking for ultimates since the game was announced. They should have been in the entire time, frankly. At this point though, I don't know why they decided to even put ultimates in the game if they are going to be tamer than an episode of Barney and Friends. Most of them don't even have the character on screen when they "die." I keep hearing people say that no mercies and ultimates were tame before, that's simply not true. Some were. However Fulgore used to fit his name; he literally vaporized most of your body and all that remained was a pool full of gore. You saw it. Jago summoned a giant chain of dragon energy and incinerated you. That was probably my favorite ultimate to do in KI2, and I was hoping dearly to see something like that in 2013-present. There is nothing like that in this game. None of these finishers are an "awesome victory." Part of the impact was that they actually occurred in combo and were almost a surprise when they happened. Many of them were short and sweet, but all of them were clearly decisive and made an often visceral impact. They had sound effects for the ultimates, and for the characters during ultimates. I mean geez, Eyedol is always talking and making sounds yet here he is getting killed and is making no sound whatsoever, even after theoretically (you never see it of course) getting impaled. That's just lazy. The screen effects and other changes actually take away from the impact as well. Just plainly going to say it too, whoever made and whoever green lit T.J.'s ultimate should be fired for that alone. Did they ever play KI or KI2?

Tommy KI has changed. We all need to change as well and stop being greedy buggers. There was great potential in this and frankly...it was lost but they are still nonetheless trying to treat the fans right. Those "fans" who go on every ultimate video and just say stuff like "this suks" or "LAME" should not be true fans. People have the right to judge what they make and I respect that, but those who just want to bash on the game shouldn't be playing. I'm not saying that people have to like the ultimates like Mira's for example, but they should be grateful that IG is still trying to keep this game alive

Tommy sorry but your basing things on what you wanted in KI and not what KI should of been. Killer Instinct is known mostly for four things. Combo breakers, hyped announcer, high speed combos, and a diverse fighting roster. Ultimates and no mercies were always watered down rip offs of mortal kombats fatalities. Now naturally they made this game with more of a competitive focus which is why it is not as blinding fast as it use to be but it's still fast paced.

I feel like the one thing people complaining about ultimates being too "tame" are forgetting is that T ratings in the days of KI 1+2 are vastly different than those today. They made the game T when it came out and they have to keep it as such. They could be a little more interesting and visually appealing, sure. But there's limits
