I have to say that I love this thing with one reservation: I wish it could mist 24 hours a day. And I agree with you, I LOVE the scents. The one I love the most is the grapefruit. My second favorite is the lemongrass. The other two are ok. Finally, I find that you can put the cap below the bottle when it is hanging in the device. That way, if you want to switch out scents you have the cap to cover the one you want to take out.

So pleased I watched your video as there was no way I could get the top off with my arthritic hands so after watching, I knew there was no way I could do this so I had to wait for someone else to come round to unscrew it for me. I found the starter kit for $5 and the refills for $2 at Ollies. What's really annoying about this device is the automatic sleep mode. I wish it would operate 24/7 if you had the interval on the lowest setting.

I got this from a ollie's bargin store for 4 bucks here in kc. I'm glad I found this video because I put the entire scent bottle with the cap on inside the diffuser lol I figure you just had to poke holes through it lol thanks for the video . I got the lavender and sandle wood and it smells amazing

The aroma mist one? The smaller one? My cousin has that one and I have the aromatherapy, the one in the video. The difference are: the aroma mist has 3 AA batteries, it has no light besides the small light at the top when it is active and mist comes out. I don't know if the oils for the mist is different (the bottle is different, but the scents are the same - Pure Happiness), but in my opinion it seems that the aromatherapy one scent persists for longer.

I popped off the top of the essential oil bottle it came with once I finished it and refilled it with a different brand eucalyptus 🤷🏻‍♀️ it is kind of hard to pop open tho

My one doesn't make mist anymore. I used other brands of oil but I don't think it's oils problem, all the waterless diffusers have the same issue.

That’s your problem. You can’t use normal essential oils for this or the air wick. If you want to use use normal essential oils in these things, you need to dilute the oil with perfumer’s alcohol. There are different waterless misting units designed specifically for regular essential oils. Those work without a “wick”.

Its on the video...Once turned on it will work on the first 8 hours then will go on to sleep mode for 16 hours in a 24hour cycle. Once the light is pulsing it is on sleep mode. If you want to reset it you have to press the on/off button.

I suppose your answer doesn’t touch on the why Glade has it to operate on a timer, still. My impression is that people will be away from that space and that way the scent is saved for while you are there, or even while you sleep if you want that.
