What can I say that you didn't already say in your review. I absolutely LOVED this movie! It was a satisfying sequel to GLADIATOR. I'm glad you brought up Hans Zimmer's score from the original. It's absolutely beautiful. But so is Harry Gregson-Williams' (who was an assistant to Zimmer early in his career) new score for the sequel. And yes, the rabid monkeys and the sharks were a little on the embarrassing side, but they didn't bother me as much as it did others. GLADIATOR II is another film I've already seen twice. 5 stars (out of 5).

Just watched this yesterday and oh boy it exceeded my expectations. This is so much better than the original in my opinion. I hope this will get Oscar nominations next year. Paul Mescal is so hot in this movie i'm like "Yup Paul....You have me actually" Hahahaha. Also Denzel Washington stole the show with his perfection scene stealing performance.

It’s refreshing to see a full throated thumbs up for this film rather than your predictable and annoying “it’s was OK and maybe a little better than I thought it would be” commentary. I’m giving your review an unqualified thumbs up.

Movie is a gdamn Masterpiece, nothing else needs to be said at the moment, every single Cinema lover out there should go an watch it in the biggest screen possible, this IS cinema. No cheap bs alla netflix, disney & co. That's all i have to say now since the movie its not out yet, just go watch this immense spectacle. I just wanted to point out the fact that Zimmer actually had a motivation, it is not because of the dune movies, he said he wont return because of the pressure from the fans and for the fact he wasn't sure he could replicate the success of the first soundtrack (who was also composed by Lisa Gerrard and not only Zimmer). Great review nonetheless!!!
