As for the water, the IRL Colosseum has the plumbing to do it. IRL it was flooded twice (that can be proven) for full naval battles. Roughly called the naumachia and the naumachiae.

Sorry I haven't found your YT Channel before, Mr. Jay 🫡✊🏾 Glad to have your more personal perspective outside of what I know of you outside New Rockstars: Didn't know Gladiator hit you that deep; continued Blessings 🙏🏾 As for the trailer, being a fan of the original, my thoughts are: If Connie Nielsen reprises her role, why not Djimon Hounsou 👀 They almost got me interested w/Denzel being Denzel & Pedro being Pedro + a water battle in the Coliseum 😮 But this trailer showed almost the whole movie = I'll hold off seeing this until the movie reviews come out.

People don't know it, but it is true that they filled the Colosseum with water and there were battles with ships. Almost 1 million animals were also killed in the fights at the Colosseum.

I'll probably watch because Denzel & Pedro are in it. Judging by the trailer, the plot of the movies seems chaotic. Also, it looks like switched the actor for the character of Lucius. Too bad they couldn't bring back the original actor to play that character as an adult 😕

I’m excited to see Pedro Pascal, Joe Quinn, and Paul Mescal. I didn’t care for the rap music wish it was just an epic score. Not only was there water in the colosseum there were sharks.
