I am a grandmother who is not much into this type of film but I can't get enough of Gladiator. My favorite of this type and the score just reaches way down inside and pulls out all this emotion. I love The Last Samurai too but don't think it measures up quite. Wow. This music is stunning. Hans Zimmer is brilliant. So is Lisa Gerrard. Russell Crowe is a great actor but I think this was his best role ever. Connie Nielson is perfect. She was in Devil's Advocate playing the devil's daughter and she was stunning but I think she too will never top Gladiator. I am in awe of the whole production.

300 isnt comparable to any other film, the ones listed are legendary. 300 is a film to be entertained by, Braveheart and Gladiator are films made to move you, to tell a story and to make you feel the character's feelings.
