What the heck Pompei has to do with Gladiator movie and the Colosseum? Ok, they are both from the Roman period, first century AD. But that´s about it. The Roman Colosseum was only finished by 80 AD by Titus and Pompei, a roman city, was already in ashes by then by Vesuvius eruption in 79 AD.
