True, but the Gladiators have to be good role models to the kids. Which is why they are doing this (and also, this may be the decision of the company producing this and American Gladiators, since at the time, parental groups were demanding more educational content in Saturday morning programming).

True. They made it not only as a kids' version of American Gladiators, they also added some lessons about health, exercise, and other physical stuff in to appease the parents.
