At the 2022 Arnold Sports Festival, at the debut of "medieval fighting," in addition to the duels fought by Luke Reich, Gladiators NYC fought melees against the Detroit Fight Club. The results of the duels and the melees were combined for a total score to determine the winner of the match. The rules of the melee are simple: knock down everyone on the other team.
