Gladys did it with this--brought me into a spell of joyful tears. Rinsed my agony drenched heart. Sometime a good ole soulful song pulls those reluctant tears out, even of a big old grown man. The older you get, the more sentimental you get, especially when think back on late loved ones that are no longer with us--grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and childhood friends. Thank you Gladys, thank you!

This is indisputably one of the greatest recordings in the history of R & B music (or music period, for that matter)! I had this album on cassette back in the day, and I nearly wore that sucker out playing this track over and over. About eight or nine years ago, I finally got to see the legendary Ms. Knight in concert and hear her do this live. The electricity that shot through the audience was something you could feel when she was up on that stage belting out "End of the Road". They just don't make them like her anymore!

I'm so happy the white side of my family didn't want anything to do with me because of my father's skin color. I'm so blessed by God that they had no influence on my life. So that no gathered for another person simply because they had a different shade of skin color then I. How absolutely superficial and stupid is that. THEIR LOSS NOT MINE. AND FOR THAT MATTER ALL PREJUDICE PEOPLE THAT THINK LIKE THIS.YOUR LOSS NOT OURS.

Such a great voice! Thank youuuu! When I was a kid, I used to listen to Gladys Knight & The Pips, and the incredible Motown artists: the good music.

I am a bundle of joy but I am loving this. I have feels for this kind of music, complements to my mother for influencing me. Only if my peers could be exposed to this kind of music then maybe young love in our generation could make it to the end of the road more often. Anyone still here with me in 2021.
