I always do second technique applying 1-2 shade darker concealer as corrector and lighter concealer as highlighter concealer. In the video also I found darker concealer used as corrector looks more bright. Orange/ peach corrector makes foundation or concealer lil orange tone.

However, on a 50-plus year old I wear we've lost some of the fullness underneath the eye and now have a definite shadowing please do a tutorial on using two different concealers to get that shadow to go away. It took me a couple days to try this one. I kept thinking how can this work, but it absolutely does. I have worked really hard on my dark spots and don't have any except one persistent one that always peeks through. It was no match for this tip though!! I tried the deeper shade but have now purchased an orange and peach product to try too.

I'm curious if I could use a setting spray after color correction instead of powder? Now that I have mature skin, too much powder under my eyes really ages me. Then I could use a small amount of powder after applying my concealer, so only one application of powder. Thank you so much for more makeup application tips. The translucent powder definitely covers the hollow part but I think it made a white cast on your face which I did not find appealing. But I love the way you taught me how to use the colour corrector.

Hi Smitha. I love ur instructions. They get to the point and so helpful! Can you please do a segment on using sunscreen with makeup? I find that my makeup pills when I pile on the skincare, sunscreen, and foundation. In particular, this happens with sunscreen. Also, they always say put on sunscreen every 2 hrs. How do people do that when they have makeup on?

Hi Smitha. I have deeper shade eye lids. When I apply eye shadows after I conceal with an orange corrector and/or with concealer & loose powder, I realised my eye shadows are not popping up but very lightly or not so beautifully. I think its because my deeper shade eye lids are not getting concealed or the concealer not sticking properly to the eye lids. Your make up as always has been beautiful. I came across your video and it has helped immensely! I use L'Oreal's crayon concealer and can never get it to look right; when I followed your tutorial placing a darker crayon first under eyes, and then the lighter on top, it blends beautifully. Thank you for your video!

I've been doing this for years. I use different shades of the Tarte Shape Tape and it works. I've no patience sorting out what corrector would work well with what concealer. Because let's be honest, not every corrector goes well with all concealers or vv. I've had concealers working fine on their own but just needs a little corrector's help but when I combine the two, it's a disaster. Long ago, I thought of using different tones of concealers because I figured, since they're the same, they would work well even putting them over each other. I sometimes use a peachy toned shade or my exact skin tone or half a shade darker than my skin under my preferred shade (whichever goes well with that day's foundation).
