Omigosh the baby’s nursery is darling. The built in that Dan and his dad made is gorgeous. They’re so talented. My girls had issues with different formulas when they were babies.. it took several tries to find one that didn’t cause gas & colic. You’re doing great, sweetie… you’re very calm dealing with a newborn, the pups, doing everyday chores, etc. You’re a natural and a wonderful mommy! 💕

Omg how precious is your baby!!! Girl I have PTSD from my birth too. Had to see a therapist and ended up getting on medication. She's 7 and I will never have another one because if it. But It's crazy because it was still definitely worth it. I just love her so much. How cute is your lil family 💞

My daughter was so colicky last year. I swear the baby brezza was not mixing properly and we ended up going to rtf nutramigen (wic will cover if dr writes script) and Omeprazole for reflux. Game changer. Was the worst 4 months of my life, but a year later we have a totally different baby. Solidarity, Mama!! This is such a hard season. We also mixed a little beech nut oatmeal cereal in with a level 2 dr brown's nipple (so it can pass thru) and that helped a bit with the reflux and filling her up. Sending you so much strength! Xoxo

It is so nice to see your Mom again. My first baby was fussy all the time. I never got the baby formula right. Later, I was told I should have tried goat milk. When I was at my wits end concerning extreme unhappy baby (with all 3 children) my neighbor would always tell me to check to see if they were teething. Most of the time they were.

My babies acted exactly this way, I tried every formula, the best one I found that worked was Carnation Good Start. I also added a little rice to help the formula stay down. Also my son was fussy and I didn’t know why, ended up it was an ear infection. They also make little gas drops for them.

I can’t tell you how happy I am that you are back vlogging. The nursery is so beautiful! You did a wonderful job and the shelves that Dan and his Dad built are amazing. I’m not sure if you even want any advice but I had the same problems with my baby, many years ago and we finally switched to soy formula. It made all the difference. I hope things get better soon. I remember how stressful and hard it is when your baby isn’t feeling well.❤

Gabriella!! I’m pregnant with our second son. The first pregnancy we went through the same problem with the formula. Crying all night, colic, everything. Similac was a complete disaster for us. We switched to Good Start formula. It was a game changer. No more crying for hours, and for this next pregnancy we are starting off the same. Try it because it really worked for us!!❤

Was going to comment this. When my son was born he started with good start, no issues. Wic changed to similac and he had nothing but issues. We ended up at a pediatric G.I. doctor and he said that the proteins in different brands of formula aren't the same and can cause issues.

Maybe try a little rice cereal if she’s really hungry when she gets up it would really help! I fed both my boys rice cereal as soon as I got them home there 42 and 30 now there still alive and have always been healthy! So happy your back ! The baby’s room is so beautiful!

as a mom for 2 colic babies would legit slept so minimal, I slept maybe 30 mins per night with my first and about 2-4 hours per day with my 2nd, who also solely breastfed, it still happens no matter how baby is fed. I hope if you had any sense of mom guilt from not BF, this reassures you that it happens no matter what. What ended up working for us (didn’t really think about it until baby 2) was eliminated dairy from my diet, and over 2-3 weeks it improved. I also gave mylicon and it changed my first baby, completely different child like night and day. Hoping baby feels better soon.

My baby had severe gas and reflux. Nutramigen made it so much worse. We ended up with similac pro sensitive. We also stopped doing warm formula and just did room temp bottles. Also unpopular opinion we did not purp her. We would feed and hold her upright and let her burp on her own. Forcing a burp out of her made her projectile vomit every time. Good news when we started doing baby purees around 5.5 mo her reflux cleared up and we were able to stop the acid reflux med.

I feel like you’re a close friend lol I was so happy to see you back!! ESPECIALLY excited about your precious daughter, who reminds me so much of my little one, the hard times with the reflux and the stress of wanting to fix it and then it not working and the mental load that goes along with that. I’m praying you find a formula that works, your story is so similar to mine. Including being sick the whole pregnancy, like REAL SICK not just normal nausea. I understand it all, and you are in my thoughts, really 💗 my daughter had silent reflux (she has now grown out of it at 1 year). It eventually will be something you went through that made you and your husband stronger as a couple and as parents. I always thought why have I never seen anyone ever talk about this issue with their baby?! In my experience with the baby brezza what I noticed is that it doesn’t measure the correct amount of formula, every time I made a bottle using it my baby would always spit up, so I said let me just use the warm water only feature and I measured the formula myself and what do you know, my baby stopped spitting up the milk and it was completely fine. Now I just use it for warm water on demand I never put formula in it.

The formula journey with my last baby was a long one and we were in the middle of the formula shortage. We finally ended up on Nutramigen or the the generic version of it. Hypoallergenic formula is so costly! He couldn’t do the Similac brand at all! We were on that prior to switching to Hypo formula and we tried the Alimentum at one point and he reacted the same way (diarrhea and gas). Something in Similac formula did not agree with him at all.

Maybe, Cecilia is teething? My baby girl started teething at 3 months old and it sounds exactly like what was going on with her.💗They go through a lot when their little gums are trying to push through those baby teeth and they're in a lot of pain and don't know why? If she drooled on her bed sheet when you pick her up in the morning & has lots of drooling going on during the day. . she is probably teething - and she is irritable, has poopy blowouts, is extremely hungry, & cranky as well. 💗Poor sweetie pie.💗

My baby suffered HORRIBLY with GERD, colic and trapped gases. The only formula that worked for him was called PurAmino and it was expensive. We went through every formula that they made and so many of them hurt him or made him projectile vomit. His PCP explained to me that when a baby has tummy pain, they’ll eat and eat and eat because they think they’re hungry and eating will get rid of their tummy pain but then they make it worse from overeating. We stayed stocked up on Mylicon drops and constantly did bicycle exercises with him. I’m praying for y’all, girly!

My son had a lactose allergy and we went through all the formulas and then tried soy. I was so relieved when I found something that worked doe him. May try soy formula for your daughter. I also gave my little man gas massages after warm baths to help get rid of excess gas in his body because he did not like to burp.

This is why I breastfed both my kids(also, because I was lucky enough), so many options of formula( and it’s free😂). I don’t like the idea of feeding soy to a baby. Baby formula has gotten so expensive, and wasn’t there a shortage last year? Yikes PS You, and Dan are fantastic parents already.

I'll never forget what a seasoned pediatrician once told me with my first baby, liquid diets are hard lol. Everything can be controversial but I say this bc ALL babies are different. Have you tried baby cereal yet (rice, oatmeal)? Even just a little once a day may be what her tummy needs to settle better. All my babies acid refux stopped the minute we started incorporating cereal💛✨️Also, baby girl's room is precious

Have you tried the gerber good start? My daughter had the same problem with the vomiting. Check the labels. The formulas with corn syrup solids as the first ingredient would cause vomiting. The ones she could tolerate had whey protein concentrate as the first ingredient.

I feel your pain with a baby who throws up so much. My son vomited every bottle and had to be prescribed EleCare formula. It's what they use in feeding tubes and is dairy/soy free. It is expensive ($1800/6 cans) but I filed a grievance with my hospital to have my insurance cover it since it was the only thing he would keep down. He was on that formula (switched to the Jr. line at 1 1/2 yrs. old) until he turned 3 (cows milk, almond milk, etc. made him puke). Magically at 3 years old he could drink almond milk and hasn't had an issue since. I know this journey to feed your baby can be taxing...hang in there, Mama! You're doing great!

Hi Gabriella! I’m a new mom as well with an 8 month old. My son has CMPA and he takes alimentum, but I was told by his doctor that it’s not good for babies who do not have the allergy. If she hasn’t tested positive for CMPA it may not be a good idea to give her hypoallergenic formula. Also, we went through lots of formula switches when our little guy was a newborn and that will cause issues too. It takes them 2 weeks to get used to new formulas. ❤️❤️ you guys will figure it out!
