Just my opinion.. I feel like GlamLite is becoming the new Colourpop. They have great quality products but the constant releases of collabs is becoming too much. Even Colourpop has slowed down a bit from what I've noticed 😅

I agree but I notice that I used to love colourpop but they burned me out so now even though they’ve slowed down I can’t remember the last thing I got from them. I really hope glamlite slows down a little so this doesn’t happen to them too.

It’s definitely been a year jammed packed with releases not only from Glamlite but a lot of indie brands. As a consumer it seems like rapid fire but honestly once you learn to only consume what makes you happy it doesn’t really matter how much is launched. I really have just enjoyed seeing the art of makeup in action. So thank you for all your long hours and sacrifices providing us with high quality content and honest feedback.

I saw somewhere on Instagram that glamlite has 26 licensed collabs coming up. They truly have taking colourpops place on the most releases. I haven't bought any yet because I know that out of that many, one collection will be absolutely perfect for me.

Glamlite has been churning out the collections this year for sure. Maybe after they release their Kiss collection in January, they'll take a break? Not sure bc I believe Anthony said he's got three collections slated for release in 2024. Don't know how they do it!

As someone with a cooler skin tone I am not too sure if the cool tone era truly happened or lasted a long time. So many things marketed as "cool tone" pull warm or at best neutral on me. Though I will say Peach Fuzz looks like such a nice colour and I hope to see it in some products in 2024.

Am watching this video and just got a notification that my Singe order shipped!! Woohoo!🎉 Also totally agree that Glamlite needs to slow down a bit. I was definitely surprised that they released 3 Halloween collections! But on the other hand Colourpop slowed down this year and I’ve been totally bored with them so can we find a happy medium? Also would love to see what the Makeup Revolution highlighter is all about!

I'm predicting the colour story of the Glamlite Kiss palette will be similar to the Ghostface palette, based on the cover of the packaging. From this week's releases, I'm most interested in the Gourmand Girls Silent Night palette.

Glamlite is giving me colourpop, ABH (norvina years) rate of dropping new palettes and collections. It is overwhelming! Revlon used to have a similar marker years ago, I loved them so much. I also think Kiko has something like that too, I should look for them again!

Yeah I agree, Glamlite is releasing so much back to back that it's overwhelming. When I saw the new palette from Gourmade Girls I immediately thought of the Christmas eve palette from Odens Eye. The owner commented that they had never saw that palette before but that they are happy to be compared to OE. I've been on a low buy since its Xmas but next month is my Bday so I'm saving up for the Adept Samarian palette.

I think that media (movies, tv shows) collabs are still so popular because it makes people want to buy it even if they usually wouldn’t buy more eyeshadow palettes. A lot of people really enjoy classic horror films, so a palette themed around one of those movies increases the number of interested customers. Personally, media collabs usually don’t interest me, but I can understand the appeal.

I completely agree on your Glamlite opinion. It's crazy with all these collabs and I've started to understand a bit why some says she can't think of any theme herself if it's not a collab... And she just recently made that video talking about how expensive licensing are and that you can lose a lot of money if the company doesn't like what you've come up with... BTW I can't grasp how you're making all this content while buying a house AND doing your second Singe release 🤯

Maybe you are right about Glamlite and the endless collections this autumn.. I agree the Kiss collection will probably be out early January, and then I reckon they will do a second Chucky collection for Valentine's, maybe? Or if there are any other iconic valentines films/characters.

I was very tempted to buy the garfield palette, but with shipping and VAT it came to almost 50 euros which I can't lay down for it. I'm gonna wait till maybe a Dutch/European retailer will sell it for a more accessible price.

I’m so excited about the Covergirl Outlast Lipstains! My sister and I loved these in like 2008, 2009 when Covergirl had them in a chunkier marker format. When they discontinued them, I moved past them onto new things, but she couldn’t let them go and compared everything she tried to them. I’m excited to surprise her with the re-release for Christmas!

I think that what is especially turning ppl of from Glamlite due to the high volume of releases, is that the collections are beginning to just look too similar to something else the brand has either come out with before, or that they have sneak-peaked to be coming out with another collab. I felt especially with the horror themed collabs that those were all just starting to look the same in terms of the products and colour stories that were included in the different collections.

honestly the first brand collabs with glamlite made sense: it was a food-themed brand so icee, hershey, etc? great!! however they moved away from that and i understand, i personally love the spooky horror makeup as a gothic enby but.... theyve become the "cool collabs but only that, nothing else" brand for me, even if the products are good. (however, as a ghost (the glam metal band) fan, id love if they made a ghost collab makeup collection.... so the kiss collection is giving me hope lmao)

I love the silent night palette because it does fit the theme and the song. If I was to make changes they would honestly be minor. I love how it's very Jesus Christ specific for the holidays and not just "I like receiving presents, so I celebrate Christmas" type of an attitude.

I worked on the nyx new products + a few more coming next year!!!!!!!!!! I would love to see you try them, the concealer stick is my partners favourite product - and he was never one to cover spots or dark circles, I would love to se you giving it a chance 🥲I worked on the peach shade and from numbers 1-7. I would describe the stix as the concealers from 1990 & uoma beauty concealer had a baby, perfect for those with psoriasis and rosacia for those not full glam days (:

I personally love stick concealers because they are the only things that do not oxidize like crazy on me. Liquid concealers always oxidize on me or just slip away.

I was wondering when they would release the color of the year. I love peach, especially paired with a mint green or seafoam - both in an eye look and in some decor. I agree like others mentioned, that glamlite is overtaking Colourpop in the amount of colabs! Still a CP fan, but the Garfield collection is very cute! Cloudberry is divine! It grows in sub-arctic climate as well, in tundras and so own. I have tried cloudberry jam on creme brulee once...I forgot all other deserts I have ever tried!

I honestly with you with Glamlite. There's just too many releases that I've kinda lost interest. Maybe if it's a collab with something I love I'll perk back up, but for now, I'm kinda over the barrage of releases. As for that Replica Garden perfume, that sounds like it would smell amazing! I will have to try and see if I can sample it sometime!

About glamlite: Honestly, I don't watch those videos recently because I really, really don't like horror movies. Like, at all. (If I see even clips of them, my brain will bring those images up at three a.m. and put them on repeat. And since my husband travels for work and my dog would literally sell me for a milk bone, being alone and terrified is not fun.). I don't have anything in particular against glamlite, but my brain sort of associates them now with that whole string of horror releases, and it's sort of soured me for their regular releases. (Or, y'know, the constant barrage of other IP collabs. :D)

I love using my Glamlite palettes. The formula is stunning and I always get compliments on my looks when I use them even by people who know nothing about makeup. That being said, it is incredibly hard to keep up with their launches. I've seen a lot of people complaining about their shipping times too so I've been hesitant to order any more from them.

Totally agree with the comments about Glamlite. Great brand, beautiful products, amazing quality, but they've tapped out their audience. Back in Summer I was able to get my hands on a Glamlite x Barbie palette at TJ Maxx and even though it is great quality and I love it, it's not the best look to be ending up at TJ Maxx I don't want to see anymore Glamlite at discount stores and with all these collabs I feel like that's inevitable.

LOVE Garfield. I read all the comic BOOKS (yes you read that correctly)! My school's library had them & I read each, cover to cover, developing my ultra sarcastic comedic personality. I think Glamlite just decided to make a sh*t-ton of items, knowing everyone will get nostalgia-bit by at least 1 collection! 😂
