Glamlite x Mikayla | 2 Looks + Review

Fun fact: When i was 20, i worked at a movie theater. Every time a new movie came out, we would have to run the movie the night before opening night after the theater was closed, just to make sure everything was ok with the film. The theater employees were allowed to sit in on these run-throughs, and so we could get a sneak peek before the general public got to see the movie. I got pregnant with my first son shortly after i started working there, and he was born in January 1994. A few months after i went back to work, the Lion King came out, and my husband (he was my boyfriend at that time) and i went to the prescreening, and we brought our new son. So, at 6 months old, Lion King was my firstborn's very first theater movie. 🖤🦁🦓⭐

I, too , am overwhelmed by large palettes, so I have skipped most of the Glamlite palettes. I do have the street taco one (bright orange, pink, lime green, this cheeto yellow, etc) and I love it. I received the Miracle palette in a beauty box and liked it, but it's not my color story happy place so I gave it away. I do love their ideas, but usually skip when it's too big for me.

I like both looks but I LOVE the first one! It's right up my alley (well minus the green) but purple and glitter are very much my style. I haven't bought that palette yet but I've been looking at it and I think you just convinced me to make the purchase. I just hope it's still available when I have the money. Both looks are great. Look #1 is my favorite. I like purple & green eyeshadows. I haven't put them together on my eyes yet. I'm a little unsure how to apply them without muddying the colors. Those planchette earrings are everything! You're right. Those star stamps are very cute. ✨⭐🌟✨ My most recent purchase was the Red Velvet Cupcake. I just adore red velvet cake. So, I jumped on this one. It has a very nice pink, purple, & red color story. It also pairs well with other GL palettes like Cake & Ice Cream Dream. The quality is great. It does stain my very fair skin tone tho. 🍔🍕🍨🧁🎂🌮🌶️🫑🍫 I have the Veggie Pizza Slice. There are a lot of nice greens in it. I think that you'd like it, if you were interested in the color story. The quality is very good. 🍔🍕🍨🧁🎂🌮🌶️🫑🍫 I also have the pie, pink donut, burger slider & street taco. They are all good smaller palettes. If you like one, I suggest waiting for the sales which happens fairly often. 🍔🍕🍨🧁🎂🌮🌶️🫑🍫 I have the Cake & Ice Cream Dream palettes. The largest ones in my collection. The quality is great. I feel like I've got rainbow palette & pastel/ pastel neons covered with these 2 palettes. ⭐⭐⭐ I also feel like having these 2 palettes means that I don't need to pick up Mikayla, just based on color story. I need to play with this some more it’s my first palette from the brand as well and i picked up the base which is really nice. When I first played with it it was a little finicky when I was trying to go from lightest to dark so I’m gonna try to do the opposite. But those shimmers are goals. I did get mine and the shimmers are insane. The colors are beautiful, but I have had some issues with it, nothing too major. I absolutely loved the first look, I’m in into the witchy vibes too. Although look 2 was so pretty and simple as well. ⭐️🌟⭐️
