Hello! I’ve been following you for quite some time and you’ve inspired me to offer Gel-X as a service. For some reason though, my nails be popping off like a day later. I’m following all the steps, not sure if it’s the tips themselves since they’re a generic Amazon brand, but the prep is all the same. Help please 😢

Have you tried using a dehydrator & primer? Those two with the nail prep is a must and I keep my nails for over 4weeks without any issues

I want to start offering gel x services for my clients but i worry about the soaking off process of their nails and what it could do to their nail health. do you have any tips for that and or a different process of taking them off/filling them in? btw i love your videos!!!!😸💓💓

Also i don’t see anything wrong w soaking off but i’ve lately seen a lot of people saying you should only soak off your clients nails 1-3 times a year???? which is crazy because i definitely do every two months or so because i just feel like it’s not good for your nail and there can be issues that you’re not aware of until you see the natural nail plate!!!

I mean, I'm just an amateur, but I've done my daughter's and my nails for about a year now. We soak off about 1-2 x a month and our natural nails are WAY healthier than when we went to the shop to get acrylic done. Of course I'm also way more careful than they were.

@@ohxmag RIGHT?!?! Aside from absolutely gouging my cuticle area the first time I used my drill, doing my own nails with Gel X has been the best decision I've made in a while, at least where my natural nails are concerned. I've saved hundreds of dollars too, which is also awesome.

i think it’s cus gelx is made of gel, so it’s like it’s already a base coat i don’t think using a base coat would make it worse, just no difference
