I noticed that you didn't put the extend gel on the natural nail. Why is that? Also you didn't buff out the nail. Was this just for the video and you would be removing soon after? I love this set. I want to replicate it.
@glammedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
I usually don’t add it to the natural nail. Just an extra step I feel isn’t needed. Not saying I don’t ever, I will for clients that are more rough. And I wipes the nail with acetone and it made it tacky enough for me to polish. I usually buff but I was trying new things

Hi BEAUTIFUL set. Two questions, What type/brand gel are you using i see a brush not of a bottle like most gel x systems? Why didnt tou apply a base layer to the natural nail? Thanks in advance for your reply.
@glammedbeauty2 жыл бұрын
I list the brushes in the description and I don’t apply on the nail bed because it’s an extra step I found that I don’t need. Sometimes I will do it for clients that are more rough on their nails

Hi! What speed do you usually have your nail drill on? Like when you di prep, and removal? I just bought a drill, and I am trying to take some acrylics off with it and I don't know what speed to use😅
@alexischavez3238 Жыл бұрын
Try 3 thousand RPM, something gentle and slow, for removal something like 12k and up

So, I wonder if you can help me lol! When I do my own gel-x nails I feel like they pop off so fast. Do you know why that could be? I follow your steps with the nail buffing, the nail primer, dehydrate the nail, etc & I still feel it doesn't last. It'll last me a good 3-4 days & it'll pop off. 😂
@ragini61062 жыл бұрын
so i have experience with gel x nails myself too. for me, the same would happen. it was mostly because i wouldn’t put in the effort to try to avoid getting the air bubbles. air bubbles cause for ur nails to pop off very easily. i’m just stating my opinion, and this might be the reason why ur gel x nails are just coming right off.
@veronicaxrosec2 жыл бұрын
try priming inside the nail tip as well! i found that just etching the inside of the tip wasnt enough for me once i started priming them my nails lasted close to 4 weeks! (natural nails grow fast for me so thats insane retention)

I usually add a base coat and cure my nails before adding the gel glue as well , so that my nails are leveled out causing less air bubbles. 🌸

These nails last my clients 4-6 weeks. They’re more light weight and majority of my clients prefer this over acrylic because they break them less. Overall it ultimately depends on the person and their preference but it’s a more natural look and feel and a little more flexible
