Heads up to the producers: you don't need dynamic angles and multiple shots when filming a ballet variation!! Ballet companies usually just do one continuous head-on shot that glides horizontally with the dancer. The variation is wasted if you keep cutting to her face only, or showing everything *but* the feet.
@oliviacase64174 жыл бұрын
THANK YOU. All of the explanations and focus on the footwork throughout the video only to frustrate the viewer with multiple cuts in the final scene. Then very little attention paid to the footwork as well!

@juliareder16974 жыл бұрын
Air Quotes some roles are just as demanding. Such as princess in sleeping beauty. As often in companies on a principled say off dancing aurora they dance the evil fairy. Other ballets Luke Raymonda have lots of variations for a principle dancer. But I loved dancing black swan such a great yet challenging role both physically but also because the acting of character has many dimensions. If you haven’t noticed I love my craft. 💙
@carolinaapintoo4 жыл бұрын

It's amazing how humans can push to this level -- pushing the body to do things it wasn't designed to do but yet making it seem as if its the easiest thing to do! I thoroughly enjoyed this and the awesome ballerina!

There weren't enough Bobbie pins for it to be a real ballet bun. (at least what was shown to us)

She's born to dance AND to teach. I could listen and look at her for hours.

She is flawless! I had a ballerina doll that came with a record of this song. I felt like a professional as a 4 year old. It's nice to have sweet memories!

I am not a dancer and videos like this help me understand and enjoy a performance in a deeper way. Thank you for going through the trouble to make it. Cheers!

I remember in one of my dance recitals we had to hold the B- Plus pose for a long time in Swan Lake. My ankle started to give out, and I had to suffer through and not move. You’re hair, makeup, costume, and performance all beautiful! Brava! 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
