Thank you, Rhiella, for your great review of my GlamourOZ Dolls Elizabet Bizelle Secret Garden-Path. 😍💕 The artwork on the box is by my brother-in-law’s father, Steven Moor, who in his lifetime was an established and celebrated artist nationally in Australia. Known for his leadlighting in churches across Australia, and his painting, mosaics, and sculpture. I chose to base the GlamourOZ fashions on his sketches he’d done in the 60’s, to acknowledge his mentoring in my teenage years to pursue art as a career. These fashion sketches by Steven are posthumously released, as these fashions were from his private sketch collection. My first dolls were released in 2003-6. When returning to make dolls again with my GlamourOZ Dolls releasing in 2020, I wanted to have them articulated and flexible in fit for most fashions and shoes within the 16” range. The best fit for fashions for the GlamourOZ Dolls to model, would be from Tonner’s Tyler Wentworth, the Superdoll Sybarites, the IT FR16, the DisneyStore Princesses, the Somers and Fields fashions, and the Franklin Mint fashion dolls. Some Gene Marshall fashion will fit, more so if the pieces are separate, as the waistline for Gene is higher. Some Teen Poppy Parker fashions will fit, however it’s more trial and error fitting as her figure is more that of a teen. If you’d like to see a range of outfits where I’ve explored the fit on the GlamourOZ Dolls, I share photos of them on my Instagram at: @glamourozdolls Thank you for the extraordinary look into your fabulous collection of 16” dolls. 😍💕

Thank you so much for this really in depth comment. I hope you enjoyed the review. I love the doll and think it's really important that a good review be honest and look at all details, trying to convey both positives and negatives, do I hope you didn't mind that. I might do another video looking at dinner of the clothes you say for her best and show that later. Thank you so much for this comment that will be very helpful for viewers and buyers. I do know that at least one person contacted me after watching me video and said that it had helped them make the decision to buy one of your dolls.

Thank you so very much, @dollfashionbrasil 😍❤️ My GlamourOZ Dolls are in the bigger scale, at 18” tall, they’re designed to wear 16” doll’s clothing and shoes. That standard, being established in the 16” scale by Robert Tonner, with his doll’s body sculpt of Tyler Wentworth. First introduced to the market in 1999. Tyler Wentworth followed and challenged the initial standard for 15.5/16” dolls, which was first established in 1995 with great success by Mel Odom’s Gene Marshall. This new 16” standard for garment fit and shoe fit was followed by several doll creators and producers, including: The DisneyStore for their 16” Princess dolls (which they advertise as 17”). And also the SuperDolls from London, who’s first forays into production was with their fashion line for 16” dolls, called ‘Fashion Beyond Reason’, with their first muse being Robert Tonner’s Sydney Chase, utilising the Tyler Wentworth body and shoe fit dimensions, before they developed their own doll, Venus, who also still honours this established 16” fit standard. This standard for 16” dolls was then followed by various garment and shoe creators, such as Marcia Friend of Facets Bouquet, who created beautiful metal shoes of various colours made to specifically fit the Tyler Wentworth feet. Being that these are not just metallic in look, but made of actual metal, there is no “give” to these shoes, so the foot either fits, or it doesn’t. I’m happy to say that my GlamourOZ Dolls feet do fit into these metal shoes. And my GlamourOZ Dolls fit into garments made for Tyler Wentworth, Superdoll, DisneyStore 17”, and many many more. 😍❤️ To see more of what garments do fit, and for more general information about my GlamourOZ Dolls, I invite you to join my Facebook group called: GODSquad - Fans of GlamourOz Dolls. 😍❤️

@@RhiellasDolls Thank you for creating and sharing this review, that continues to be a constant introduction and information source, for my GlamourOZ dolls. As an Australian, it is of value to me to know that my work is valued by my fellow Australian collectors. I’m glad that you could appreciate the years of committed work I put in to create these American awarded Australian dolls I made. Living for years alone in China, during the production run of these dolls, and the financial commitment I personally invested. I appreciate that you value the artistic choices I made for the faceup of my doll, that is sold for about half the price of the doll’s faces you compared them to. I’m rather proud of the achievement of my production results, considering these dressed doll editions are from my inaugural editions of my GlamourOZ Dolls. I thought it was sweet, that when you compared garment fit, you were surprised at how an IT outfit made for a flat chested teen doll would not fit mine. Might I suggest to choose garments from a doll that has similar age of maturity and similar measurements, like fashions made for Tyler Wentworth or Superdoll. You may not be aware, I show many of these makers’ outfits on my dolls on my social media, so the fit comparison references are out there to find. I look at wonder at all the amazingly beautiful, and I know, expensive imported fashion dolls you’ve collected and invested in to have in your collection. I appreciate that you also equally valued my doll creation journey enough to have bought one of my new GlamourOZ dolls on the secondary market, to add to your collection. I value your support, Rhiella. Thank you. 😍❤️

@@JozefSzekeresartist they are exquisitely beautiful. I have no 16 inch doll yet not 18 inch. I only have a 43 cm bjd. And mostly 12 inch. someday i will hehe.maybe even mke my own doll too but that would require a lot of studying and expensive utilities like a kiln.

I have two of Jozef's dolls and I love sewing for them but for other outfits, the Tonner Tyler Wenworth clothes and shoes fit best. Tamara Casey, who designs patterns for sale has many patterns for Tyler Wentworth and also some for GlamourOz. I highly recommend the GOD's and Tamara Casey patterns for the doll sewist.

Thank you so very much, Kitty. 😍❤️ Yes, the Tyler Wentworth measurements, in both garment fit and shoe size, are the best to fit my GlamourOZ dolls. That also includes the fashions from 16” fashion dolls by other makers, that followed, or refer to this 16” standard that Tyler Wentworth established. Like the DisneyStore Princess doll’s, or even Superdoll London. Tamara Casey, of Designs by Jude, has now released 7 beautiful fashion pattern, specifically for the GlamourOZ Dolls. A great source for the doll sewist. 😍❤️

@@JozefSzekeresartist these are brilliant suggestions. Thank you! I have also put your dolls in several Evangeline Ghastly gowns that are an amazing fit and are floor length.

@@RhiellasDolls That’s awesome, I too have been exploring garment fit of my GlamourOZ Doll in several Evangeline Ghastly gowns that I own. And I’ve also found the fit and floor length seems a perfect… fit! I’ve noted that some collector owners of my dolls have also started exploring Ms Ghastly’s fashions on them, and sharing these online. One comment that stood out to me, was an owner’s description that their dressed GODs’ new look in an EG fashion evokes a more Victorian Steampunk aesthetic, rather than Victorian Gothic. With the GlamourOZ doll herself, being the new element that affects this change, with that bringing with it a new life of context for these EG fashions that can be explored in redress play on their GODs. Have you found something similar? Or have you an entirely novel reaction regarding the tweaked aesthetics, in what a differing model from the original, can bring? You mentioned in your video, that you may do a follow up regarding garment fit, once you’ve had some time to explore possible garments you found that can fit your GlamourOZ Doll, Elizabet Bizelle. Might the Evangeline Ghastly fashions on your GlamourOZ doll, be the beginnings of this new fashion montage video? 🙏😍❤️ If so… I’m very much looking forward to it. 🤩😍❤️

Very beautiful doll, she definitely reminds me of the Integrity Toys style. Wish she had glass eyes instead of painted. I love the 16-inch size, it’s my favorite to collect; I wish Integrity still made 16-inch dolls. Thank you for sharing your girl with us! ❤

I love it, she's a really gorgeous doll! Just wondering, if we get dolls whose hair is messy like Elizabet's what's the best way to neaten it up?

If you spray it with a little water then you can brush it safely without damaging the hair.

I agree about the name being over the top. The box is very cute and reminds me of a vintage Barbie box. She is a beautiful doll. I would rather pay less without the extra hands. Also the height difference would bother me. The legs look too cartoon like. I love her hair and jewelry too. Thanks for doing this great comparison video!
