Glamping in Botswana. WHY NOT?! - EP. 144

This episode is from my ride to Goo Moremi Gorge, which is situated in Eastern Botswana. This was one of those days when I was completely exhausted, so I didn't get to see the gorge itself. After the sandy ride, I've decided to do a bit of glamping. You have to treat yourself every now and then, don't you?

In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don't know my final destination or the duration of this journey.
Throughout my journey, I was raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life. The rules are changing so often. Normally you needed a PCR test to enter Botswana but apparently at the moment you only need a proof of vacation.

Pisze RZEKOMO ponieważ właśnie skończyłem czytać jego książkę i mam poważną wątpliwość czy ten człowiek tego dokonał. A przynajmniej w sposób jaki to opisuje. Jazda przez dżunglę gdzie nie ma praktycznie drogi, jazda po pustyni i wiele innych takich jak mi się wydaje mało prawdopodobnych historii. Dlaczego MAŁO PRAWDOPODOBNYCH? Po pierwsze, sam jeżdżę motocyklem który wazy ponad 320kg i wiem ze nawet wypychanie takiej maszyny pod niewielką górkę na ubitej nawierzchni to nie lada gradka. Po drugie oglądam min. twoje przygody i widzę , ze nawet w obecnych czasach sprzętem do tego odpowiednio przygotowanym nie jest łatwo. you camp? Norly wouldn't camp out if her life depended on it. Back when i explored North America on my Harley i camped out every night, we didn't have youtube back then so it was common to work a day or two for a farmer or washing dishes at a restaurant. restaurants were the best, they always wanted somebody to wash dishes and bus tables, so it was easy work and you usually got free food. back then you could make a hundred dollars go a long way
