Glamping Tent with Jetted Bathtub (Natra Bintan) | Hotel Review

Situated just 60 minutes by ferry from Singapore, Bintan is an island getaway that many of us need. In the first of a three-part series of our Bintan trip, we reviewed Natra Bintan, a Tribute Portfolio Resort. Some may be familiar with its previous name; Canopi Bintan, before its acquisition as a Marriott property. We just been there, actually the food in Natra was actually quite good, we tried the laksa and soup buntut among other local food. By the way, the laksa is local Bintan version, do try it. If you want alternative you can go to the restaurant Anmon where they served food more cater to younger people. The chef at Natra came to greet us every meal amd if you want suggestion on what to you, you can always talk to him. He is also very open to hear from your feedback.

Hi there! Yes, the food wasn't bad but we felt quite trapped because there was only one restaurant within the hotel. The only other alternative as you pointed out (and we considered), was walking over to Anmon. Also, thanks for recommending the laksa and sup buntut. We will be sure to try it during our next visit!

Hi Guys, I've actually been here before the pandemic, so I'd just like to share a little bit more about your point on food options. There are actually a couple more food options (kind of a food street concept, as well as some lower tier neighbourhood cafes) at the main entrance of Treasure Bay which are pretty affordable. I must say its quite far from Natra Bintan though, took me a good 3-5 mins on the electric bikes that we rented!

Hello! During our previous visit before the pandemic, we also have had the chance to “shop” around for food near the activities centre. Those shops/stalls, however, are no longer operating, sadly.

Yes, it is included! The activities are discounted for Natra guests too so be sure to let them know when purchasing the activities.

the bbq intro. you said u brought some food over from sg. So there is no issue bringing in uncooked food at the immigration office?

Hi, the things we brought are frozen stuff like cocktail sausages, crab stick. Not sure if it is an issue but they did check our bag - requested for me to open up my luggage and cleared me after checking.

Yes and it’s pretty strong too! Just make sure you close the doors to keep the cold air inside the tent.
