I love doing day tours while I am checking out new places, do you plan ahead or book the day before when choosing short experiences?

I lived there six years. It really is quite a pretty country with interesting culture and history, wish more people would go visit.

Wow. What parts did you live in? My sister was stationed in Okinawa for a little bit, but I never got to visit her in the three years she was there and I really regret it.

@@AliceFordAdventures Tokyo, but traveled all over. Hokkaido is delightful. Never climbed Fuji oddly enough. People are SO polite, it's just amazing. ❤

When it comes to day tours, I always preferred to let the direction of the wind decide while travelling and visiting, passing through. Thanks for the tour and scenery surrounding the spectacular Mount Fuji. This is a picture perfect landscape. The area feels serene, well preserved... and the green tea, my favorite among all teas 🇯🇵⛺️🍣🗻⛩️

When I see Japanese art for sale at flea markets, gun shows, antique stores, 9 out 10 times there is usually some depiction of Mt. Fuji in the background.

Beautiful views and timing, one thing that impressed me about visiting Mt Fuji was how well cared for the outlying communities were on the ride up Thank you Alice for bring us along.

They really seem to know good green tea. They really seem to have a deep cultural heritage there in Japan. Good job, Alice.

From your short time in the nation, could you see any cultural diversity- In respect to different ethnicities and nationalities?

Great question outside of Tourists most of Japan and China lacks in really any diversity outside the big cities. This is one thing as Americans we really take for granted when it comes to race and racism. We are a Cornucopia of cultures, colors and religions here in America, but in many other countries in the world, this could not be more different and as much as we fight for diversity here, some countries have not even begun to have any.

@@AliceFordAdventures Thanks, that's why I asked. I know some Americans categorize groups in this country as monolithic without really thinking aoub the word's meaning or context. I'm curious about how people from America transform into social norms and cultural conditions in Japan, China, and other nations.
