Yes thank goodness he got his body back sooner than I thought, but yeah that was...too easy. Where ever Phantom Freddy is he either got thrown out onto the ground and retreated somewhere to plot his next move, kicked back into The Unknown (the ghost prison that Elenor showed Gregory), or possibly thrown into the afterlife. But he must've been tossed somewhere for him to prey on someone else who knows. And if that's the case, hopefully there's a way to imprison him for good...then again Golden Freddy did curse him to be forever imprisoned on the day of a blood moon.
