Glasgow City Tour, Scotland

Lived there 1980/1981 . Had a great affection for the city ever since. Proud that I lived there and have been back a few times. Time passes and seems like yesterday when I was walking down Byres Road to the Hllhead tube . Everybody should visit Glasgow. It is a fantastic city, always has been in my eyes.

A lot of Glaswegians leave to find work I went the other way and went to work in Glasgow and absolutely love the city and its people, the architecture is sublime you'll end up with a sore neck looking up at the buildings all the time, if you can book a tour of the city chambers you won't be disappointed, the pubs are good also for food as well as a pint, in fact I've talked about it so much I'm going to book a holiday now for Glasgow and if my wife can't get time off work I'll go myself and keep her up to date via what's app, now that's love ❤️

Glasgow has an undeserved reputation. It has some beautiful architecture and the people are so friendly. I have always enjoyed my visits here.

This is a great whistle-stop tour. Covers a lot of the honey pots. Visitors watching should try to visit Pollok park and the Burrell Collection (when it is next open!). The Riverside Museum and Tall Ship are also cracking visits for kids and especially for a rainy day (you just might get one!). The Lighthouse (in a lane with lots of lights hanging above) just off the lower end of Buchanan St pedestrian way is free to enter and amongst other arty things (including 'gift shop' items whose prices make the eyes water!) has a tower with a spiral staircase leading up to the very narrow viewing balcony with the best panoramic vista over the city. You might need to have a tea and scone in their cafe to recover.:) I am impressed with the smooth panning: I need to work out how to achieve that in mine.

Great video of my home city however the building at 9:20 is kelvingrove art gallery and museum not the university

Dom McGoldrick Yes I noticed that. However when you consider where he was , there is a great view on the left up the hill of the university. I think he was definitely referring to that view. The camera however was filming the art gallery when he was speaking.
