@@stewzs9269 That's a myth stemming from the Busby days. Sir Matt was a devout catholic. However, he was the one who signed devoted Protestant George Best. Also, many of our legends since then have been Protestants. Sir Alex is a good example. Oh, and not forgetting the anti-catholic songs we sang against celtic in 2008. Regarding Man City, they ain't no Protestant club having, a few years ago, signed up for a partnership with a catholic school in Manchester.

@@stewzs9269 Yes, historically. But that was done by default. As I mentioned, United were seen as the catholic club because of Sir Matt and that in turn meant City were viewed as Protestant. The whole idea was dropped soon after George Best signed, and was put to rest for good when the next set of Protestant United legends followed.
