Hi John-o, the closest I have got to running over with out actually going over was bang on a 4 and a half hour drive on the A36 from Wilton to the A303, I have gone over a few times but only by a few minutes. Have a good week out and about 😊

That was good going from bonnie Scotland down to eastbourne 👍. If any hgv driver says they haven't had an infringement is not telling the truth...we all have some problems every now and then..

Yeah only take a bit of traffic or an accident, I went over a 6hour working time directive in an accident before and I was 100 yards from the services, I could see them and went over by 2 minutes

Make a note in your diary off the delays, and you had a secure load do aprint out, write on the back, and keep with your diary as a ref if you get pulled.

Infringements lol....i had quite a few infringements in my day.....probably 2 per day.....speeding and long hours but that was back in the day before there was such a clamp down on driving hours and speed limiters....20 or 22 hours a day, 6 days per week, trying to get from A to B as fast as i could but i still had to pay the speeding fines....we were paid weekly...very weakly lol....Thanks for the video John....safe journey .....cheers

The speed limit for hgv in Scotland on single carriageway might be going up to 50mph at the same time they want to bring speed limit for cars etc on single carriageway down to 50 mph. Its at the conceltation stage until march then a decision will be made.

Drive times need to be increased, i can hardly do wales and bristol "round trip" without praying there is no traffic

Maybe swap an hours work time for driving time. 13h max day but you can drive for 11h. But drivers are pushed to ridiculous hours as it is so it's a slippery slope.
