If I'm not mistaken, I think he has the melody playing on a computer or some sort of hardware sequencer, and sending that melody over MIDI. So all he has to do is open up the Moog's filter and the notes are already being played. Hope that helps! @@antoniomartellini-rg4rq

@@Julian.8aOn a synthesizer, there's a thing called a filter, typically low-pass or high-pass, which lets you "filter" out certain ranges of frequencies. In this song for instance at around 1:20 when the Moog synth comes in. That is a low-pass filter cause you can hear him opening the filter and letting sound out, and then reclosing it. When closed, the last thing you hear is the low end cause the low-pass filter only lets lower frequencies through when it is activated.

I LOVE this. Just found this group today. I've loved psychedelic rock, synth, edm, and any and all Eastern music since my youth (Cultural music of Armenia, Jordan, India, Egypt, China and so on). I picture a vast desert in a not too distant future a lone stranger has been trapped in the desert for days. He see an oasis glitching in and out miles away. So he makes it to the entrance, parched near death.the glitch solidifies a guard helps him into the oasis. There he is amazed by what looks to be a hidden city a beautiful servant girl approaches him with water he hands her a parchment, a message that had to get through……damn the song ended
