Thanks for this, I've tried doing this as a visibility graphics override on curtain panels but it never quite worked right. This way is much better.

What happened to the SAuBIM Code calculation plugin. I am interested in purchasing it

Woah! That is OLD SCHOOL! I stopped updating that when Revit gave us the ability to tag shared and calculated parameters!! Haha

Hello. Thank you for the video. Unfortunately, this does not seem to work in R2024.2. I tried to change the Material> Glass>Appearance>Foreground, to Solid and designated colour. . . .Apply>OK. . .and. . . .nothing changed in either Hidden View or Shaded View. Glass in Shaded View is still very annoying blue colour. If there is anyone that can assist me with this issue, please respond. Thank you in advance ;)

It’s working fine for me in 2024.2 the exact way I show it here …. ??

My apologies Sir. Doing some further digging into the matter, I have created a new material, duplicating the glass and changed some of the appearance properties. It worked exactly how you described it in the video, however, when I use original 'glass' material, it reverts it back to the annoying blue colour, despite me changing the Surface Pattern>Foreground colour. Nt sure why, but I have solved my issue. Thank you again for the video. Cheers from Down Under ;) @@TheRevitKid

I'm having the same issue. It's almost as if the 'Glass' is a system material that cannot be modified. I can make this work if I create a new material but then you have to swap out every instance. I'd be nice to just be able to make the change globaly. I'll keep trying to sort it as it is driving me crazy.

I believe it's related to an old Glass library material carried forward in our template. If I use one of the default installed template it works as described in this video.

SOLUTION - Open a premade Revit template. Verify that you can change the settings on a window and that it function as in this video. Open your Project and using 'Transfer Project Standards" select "Materials" from the working file. Curious if this works for anyone else. Cheers!

Override graphic view and add 40% transparency to the glass and it will show like that
@TheRevitKid Жыл бұрын
Sure … I’d you only want to do it on a view by view basis … 👍

@@TheRevitKid Yes. Sometimes you just want to apply that to certain views
