Those HUGE engraved phone symbols in those panels is cool. The interesting thing about that particular symbol is that lots of younger people have no idea why the symbol looks like that... which makes me feel really OLD... ESPECIALLY since I have a wall phone in my kitchen with a receiver that looks exactly like the symbol.

the big phone symbols are quite interesting, suppose it helps to show the stuff for the phone system separate from the other controls

Also so that if you need the phone in a grave emergency, there’s no problem reading labels to find out where it is.
