How do ya clean those, Harry? Just with some dish detergent? Never seen those ones with the two top prongs or the bell kind before. I looked in me mum's basement for some insulators and I came up empty. Phoo!

Use mothers bar soap I think it’s called you pick it up at a hardware store like Lowe’s or Home Depot there’s videos on how to clean them the black stuff is diesel fuel that covers a lot of them

There are many different colors and colors are good specially when it’s a mixed like amber swirls or milky swirls inside. some insulators are very very valuable and I just picked up some very nice ones

@@harryhumstone3149 apparently those insulators along with Western Flynt Glass we're hurriedly made and prone to breaking. Finding them in good condition and in the violet spectrum are hard to come by. Great haul!

No thank God I broke a lot of glass but never any Glass insulators. I cracked a common taken out of cold water and putting it into hot water one time while cleaning that is definitely a no no

How do you clean them

Water and barkeepers friend let them sit overnight and they come out nice and clean sometimes you have to do it over and over again if it’s a black diesel stain but it will come off
