A lot of people hate KONE so much, but their high rise elevators are great. They mostly or always go with Otis, ThyssenKrupp, Schumacher, Schindler, Mitsubishi and third party companies instead.

Sounds like many of Menards elevators, mainly Abells. I filmed at a Menards today, and it has a ThyssenKrupp elevator with 2 types of buttons.

Something tells me the should’ve installed some Innovation fixtures here instead of KSS 370s so half the buttons wouldn’t have needed to be replaced. Otherwise, they somewhat function. Nice brakes, though. (Edit:) Never mind.

I believe this is what we call a Mipron and they are new enough to disable door close button in the software. Elevator mechanics sometimes disable door close buttons so they aren't hit during the door opening process to limit unneeded wear on the door operator motor and components. All doors have some type of timer for door close, allow the elevator to perform as intended and a lot of the "noises" and other issues wouldn't be a factor in so many elevators.

These are some terrible KONEs. The whole right elevator does not sound good, and the left elevators door doesn't sound good either.
