Message to the negative comments in this video: If you don't like this type of content or what I'm doing then you can leave and do something in your life. However if you wanna continue then keep doing what you normally do, it is only gonna grow someone as a creator and a better person. I take criticism all the time and I don't care what people think of this but none of that is gonna change my decision I can make a decision in my own time. Anyway this experience is valuable from teachers and it's natural to learn from them if you didn't know the consequences of your actions it's less about fault and more of learning and growing and now that I have learnt from that. Apart from that If you want to reply negative then go on I'm all ears like I said if you don't like this content you can leave or you can continue wasting your time arguing or posting negative about it, the choice is yours. Well it’s a lesson for you for safety breaking the the lifts. Lifts aren’t freaking toys. You can break the lifts horribly and it can go into inspection. How bloody amazing. Do not do it again.
@Abdur-Rehman Жыл бұрын
At Westfield Stratford you can safely break the lifts as many times as you want they won’t break yes they can sound like the worlds collapse because of how harsh they are and amount of noise they make you can even safely break them five times in a row without the lift going to the next floor nothing will happen for example you could go from ground floor to 2nd floor and safety bracket three times in between and these ones don’t lose their position either.

That'll teach you to do deliberate safety brakes! Lifts aren't toys, and I'm getting sick of lift enthusiasts who think it's an okay thing to do. Your fucking around has put this lift out of service, and now the owners of this lift are going to have pay a call-out fee to the engineers to get you out & perform an inspection on the lift. Also, lifts are not designed to be "crash stopped" like this in normal operation - it should only be done on inspection. How do I know this? A friend of mine is a lift engineer! You might actually cause some damage to the lift by doing safety brakes.

I don't encourage people to mess with lifts and especially lift surfing I don't surf lifts as I'm not yet trained safety breaking lifts once doesn't damage the lift Or the brakes Safety breaking lifts more than once does it I don't safety break lifts alot and to be honest I don't recommend safety breaking It's not my problem what others get up to

If you take a look closer to the door you can see there’s a small gap in between maybe you did not shut it correctly as it looks like it’s opened a little bit.

I know I’ve done safety breaks (and kinda feel like an idiot, but I will stop doing so) but safety breaking isn’t the best way to go. For starters, I’m making my comment less rude as some people said it kind of agressively. Anyway, I know safety breaking from outside is okay, but inside may feel kind of scary. You’ll obviously damage the lift and motor equipment, probably also the door system. I’ve had myself stuck in a lift at Kogarah, because it decided to safety break itself while trying to open its doors on the bottom floor even when moving. Now I know what happens if you keep safety breaking, as I know the negative effects on doing it. Best if you don’t do it, as you may end up paying the fees for repairs.

I used to safety break sometime not most of the time, but yes it can feel scary when the lift breaks harshly. That old time I thought safety breaking was ok. I've safety broke 2 lifts then it got stuck. The first one got stuck between 2 floors. As you would see the doors were opened a bit then I tried shutting it. This also happened the same time like the second one on this video. By that old time I barely safety break them. Then I think that I should do better than safety breaking a lift. I know it can seem fun to some others, but now for me it doesn't seem fun anymore. Because it feels like you will get stuck and into trouble. Yes it ends up paying the fees. Also, some people will be blaming me for damaging lift so I would be standing up and make my own reply bit rude of. Anyway the old time I was a starter of filming lifts and I never knew safety breaking lead to problem and I never knew all these bad things before being the starter. But now that I've learnt my lesson. It's better for others to remove or cut the part of their videos from the past when they force the lift doors open whilst the lift is in motion. Because it could lead to encouragement.

I can see from the comments there are a tonne of uninformed & unintelligent people. I was about to respond to a single comment but it appears that there are lots of them, for starters you can safety break majority of elevators and nothing must go wrong, i may have identified a deliberate entrapment system fitted on newer Otis elevators, Its not your fault and you can comfortably safety break as you wish as long as its not a older generics. I will see if responding to the individual comments stating facts get a response. For now just ignore them as they don't know any better!

I got stuck in a lift with digital advanced safety breaking it and it broke because instead of one safety break before doors opened I ended up doing it twice causing the lift to stall

digital advanced can do safety break normally once per trip then allow it to go down to the lowest floor voice will say out of service which sounds funny but twice in the same trip im not sure what that does
