When science, technology, art, masterful skill, patience and craftsmanship all meet we get this beautiful thing that words could not describe. I’m so impressed and jealous. I’d love to see a few of the different systems get the clear case treatment. A sweet clear GameCube or a 64. I’d legit pay admission to an event just to look at them all on display.

Really nice work! If I may make a suggestion, whenever you disconnect the laser assembly on an optical drive, you should short across the fingers of the ribbon connector to protect the laser from static electricity. A paper clip slipped over the fingers works well for this, or a just a fold of aluminum foil and some adhesive tape.
