Awesome real time demo and narration. I had a pipe years ago that had a feature i cant figure out how to get right and a video on it would be awesome. It was functioally a splash guard but it was like a donut but there were 3 openings all connected like a cave. It was basically a donut with a hole every 120degrees horizontally and really added a lot of character to the finished pipe. For a demo like that I'd be eternally greatful.

What is the COE of the color stringers and tubing you’re using? Don they have to be the same? I see a lot of stringer bundles and they are 90 COE but the Simax glass I’m looking at is 33 COE. I’m not the most knowledgeable on these things so I figured I would ask you cause I’ve watched this video a bunch in preparation for gathering supplies and learning techniques. I’m at the glass buying stage and I’m waiting on my application at Airgas to come back for fuel and then I’m ready to blow. Thanks for the help so far!

Great video brother. What’s a decent torch to go with? I’ve gathered most everything but....
@filmandfire34233 жыл бұрын
I use a Bethlehem bravo. It's a good torch to start on and it's a torch you can grow with or that can grow with you rather. There are cheaper alternatives like the Bethlehem Alpha which will give you a smaller flame but it will be tough to get into larger pieces with that torch. They also have the Bethlehem champion which is a step above the Bravo. It really depends on your budget. A lot of guys like the GTT torches as well but I don't have any hands on experience with those.

Great video!!! Great pendant!!! I just started blowing glass again a couple weeks ago after 18+ years away from my torch. Oh what fun it is to go through the "burn and bleed" phase again:) I'm on Discord: DeadSeaMonkee#8872 if you every want to share ideas back and forth or just have someone to talk to about glass blowing. THANK YOU so much for sharing your hard work! Again, GREAT JOB!!!!
