Qualifying rules:
Q1 - 4 teams are launched for a full lap from the start of the pits starting line. 2 best times go to Q4 and the 2 eliminated are below 7th waiting for the best time placement.
Q2 - 4 teams are launched for a full lap from the start of the pits starting line. 2 best times go to Q4 and the 2 eliminated are below 7th waiting for the best time placement.
Q3 - 4 teams are launched for a full lap from the start of the pits starting line. 2 best times go to Q4 and the 2 eliminated are below 7th Here the starting grid from 7th to 12th place is already defined.
Q4 - A race with the 6 ranked will be defined the starting grid based on their previous time. After the start it will be a 2 lap race. The final result defines the starting grid from 1st to 6th place.

I still don't get the qualification rules... often it's not the marble with the best time who qualify...

It’s a two fold system. Racing and lap time. In this format the racing aspect is more important with the lap time coming in less important.

@@Fubeca You're right, when I think about it it's ok, but it's confusing presenting the time on the 2nd lap and start the time at the leading marble. as a viewer the race-clock isn't necessary to see, it says nothing about the results for places 2-4. I think you instead should start the clock when the race starts, and the just say that the fastest lap for each is as presented. I thought about it some more.. and why not treat the 6 last marbles as the 6 first marbles, with a qualification-heat that decides starting positions 7-12. then it will not focus as much on the lap-time. You're doing a great job!! I just didn't understand the rules, I understand them now, and my thoughts above are not meant as critic. i just wanted to explain what was confusing me.. I'll continue to enjoy these clips!!! ...but i'll hope that Volcano will do it better than they've done in the start of this season. *smile*
