So sad. Our car had problems & we couldn’t make it. Now I’ve got to rewrite my entire xmas present list. 😢 Thank you for letting me be there in spirit. Brightest of blessings to everyone. 🕯❤️

It was busy. Thanks for filming. 😊 Wish they would turn on the chistmas tree lights early. So more people could enjoy it. It should be done at the opening of the market around the tree. Not a music stage at the top of the high street.

@@karenlipman7545 I don’t think I have ever seen Christmas lights turned on during daylight

Lovely to see this as we couldn’t make it to the Frost Fayre this year. I don’t suppose you could include a look round that little antiques shop ‘very vintage’ when you’re next nearby could you? I’d love to see what they’ve got in stock at the moment! Thanks ! 🕉️

Hi Gabe. Bet u shattered after yesterday. I spent time at my steam train place yesterday, it didn't rain much, the atmosphere was fab. Santa got on the train to give pressies. U can't beat the chug chug chug of a steam loco. I captured some video footage 4 u which is on me fone, will show u when c u.

Why does the town crier have a woman walking next to him? Does she have some sort of significance? Even the mayors don't have their "consorts" with them so wondering what she's about.
@GlastonburyGabriel10 күн бұрын
I believe that it isn’t unheard of for town criers to have consorts. Maybe David could hop on with the definitive answer. I can say however having met her yesterday she is a lovely lady

It is customary for Town Criers to be accompanied by "Consorts". I invited my good friend to accompany me for this event, and others over the festive period, as it adds to the visual spectacle. If you look closely, you will see that the Mayor is also accompanied by his "Consort", as he is for most events in Glastonbury. D.A. Greenway (Town Crier of Glastonbury)
