A most interesting contrast to your recent video, letting us see the High Street through another pair of eyes. It really is good to see a place thriving and full of community spirit. Its so good that you champion such characters. They are the backbone of English culture and certainly worth preserving. I loved the way Merlin inveigled his way into the scene, you couldn't plan such an intro! Beautifully filmed and edited.... and the rest is history! (As they say) Daffodils are also a favourite flower. I have a collection of some 19/20 varieties!

The problem with pedestrianising the High Street is, I assume, that even more traffic, including the half-hourly 376, would be diverted along Bere Lane, which already has too much noisy traffic, including enormous articulated lorries hurtling along it. David, the town crier, is great and very knowledgeable about Glastonbury-a very interesting video!

Great vlog, loved the interview with the Town Crier. Nice to know he has welsh roots, as I am from Cardiff. I'm a regular visitor to Glastonbury as its not to far of a drive. Looking forward to my next visit in April. But sad to see the Mocha Berry closed. The best breakfast in Glastonbury, I loved the food & the vibe of the place it was unique. The Raven witch shop was a music shop & it had a mural of a keyboard where the Raven mural is now.

I remember being absolutely fasconated with him and his crying during my 1st visit to Glastonbury years ago, and walking up High Street listening to you both talking about the town was a real pleasure.
