Such an underrated piece! I found it by accident and now is one of my favorite pieces by Liszt along with Vallée d’Obberman and and the ballade no. 2

Yes 🥰 not so famous piece and yet my favorite one For vallee d’obberman there is first version which I like very much (usually the revised version played) I did a led video too for ballade 2 Check it out 🙂

Even the start looks pretty intimidating and impressive, doing a trill and arpeggio with the right hand. You won't know how hard it really is until you see the fingers. Great job playing them evenly! Such a beautiful and underrated piece!

Yes especially in the sound it can sometimes be hard to keep it soft and all notes connected to each other Thank you! 🙂 underrated piece indeed, maybe because it’s long, but for me it’s one of the Liszt’s piece that moves me the most

It's a real joy to be able to watch the hands on this fantastic master work. Not so known regarding Liszt's huge work for the piano. This one, even terrific in difficulty is also wonderful to listen to, with a true beautiful melody. I heard it several times on CD, maybe once only live. A rare gem. Thank you 🙏 for this visual rediscovery

When i listen to this piece the last 3 chords at the ending of piece there's something about them that makes them stand out... they sound so beautifal especially the final last chord 17:55
