Beautiful pottery. I especially love those tree pieces with winter wood, aurora green and cosmic tea dust. Its giving me ideas and I can see that as a jewellery holder.

Hey pottery sister! Wheee, I'm the first in this time lol. OMG, what a great load of beautiful pieces, I can't wait to see the animal totem finished. Those spacers are brilliant! The messages you get are so lovely. We do think alike my love, the pottery community is really one of a kind and I appreciate you and others so much for sharing their process and ideas, That is why I do that too. (thanks for the shout out btw 😄) Unfortunately the 'thanks-button' is not available on Bonaire, I don't see it and I have looked it up but for me, due to our banks, that's a no go. 🥵Oh no, poor Cissy, give her a paw from me and an extra cookie okay? My Sissi says hello too! Sending hugs your way and some healing vibes for hubby. xx Monique

I am so glad you like the low bowl and brush for baby powder/ cornstarch. The cool thing about the bowl is its low profile where it does not turn over at least in my experience. Enjoy and thanks for being my teacher! You are a great one!

Hi, some one may have said this already, but I fixed the pinholes by slowing the cooling until the glass can heal. So after the kiln finishes the peak temp, I put another segment on my program that says next segment will be 200f per hour down to 1900f. Assuming cone 5/6 glaze. What happens is at peak temp, the glaze has little bubbles where the bisque is still out gassing. Also helps to fire bisque to cone 04, with a 10 min hold. This helps encourage the kiln to burn out organics in the clay. Nice work, thank you.

Hi and thanks for watching and your helpful comment. I find it only happens with certain glazes but pinholes are really annoying. Thanks for sharing the tip. 😊

Hey Sarah! Yes yes yes I’m watching and loving! Looove everything about that blue rutile bowl gorgeous well done Cathy! Have u tried light flux over blue rutile? It’s stunning can’t wait to do it! My heart skipped a beat when u mentioned me chuffed lol. Also love the idea of mulberry wiped back then weeping plum over. Never thought of that always used underglaze before. Now I want to try cobalt wiped back w sky or glacier over. Stay tuned! Hope yr cold didn’t get worse. Much love from Australia xx

Hi Linda and thanks for watching. I glaze fire to 1212 degrees centigrade- which is a high Cone 6 in my kiln. Hope that helps. Great to have you along 😀

The sprigs and glass frit have not come yet. I hope they come soon because I am taking a couple of weeks off from my classes, but I am still working on special orders and a full set of dinnerware. Hope your husband and puppy are getting better.
