A beautiful recording this is. Thank you for posting it. The engineers did a great job recording this in the Moscow Conservatory Hall. The Glazunov (like the Dvorak) is not as popular as many other concertos but it's full of ingenious harmonies and orchestrations. With its meandering tempos I have always thought it difficult to accompany - the orchestra part is not as straightforward as Bach or Mozart or Beethoven or Paganini or Mendelssohn or Wieniawski or Brahms or Tchaikovsky or Bruch or Prokofiev or even Sibelius.

It's probably up there with sibelius and Brahms. Depends who's playing it😂
