Hi, Have you put the air scoops back with the new diamond grill? doesn't look like it on your video. the other video from Asia you are referring to seems to have the air scoops back on, but iam not sure if he just placed it without clipping it in. If air scoop is not installed back would it be an issue? did you do it? please advise. thank you.

Just a couple of torx head screws. It comes out and then re fit.

I have a 2023 GLC 300. I’m stuck at removing the clips from the grille itself. I seem not to know how to have the clips to come off the bumper. Can anyone help please?

Just removed two screws from original grill and fitted in this one. The lugs were not there for the cable so just secured with cable ties.

Hi. Managed to removed air scoops but for the life of me I can't remove the clips to remove the grill itself. People say push them out. Does that mean you kinda prize them away from the grill with a flate headed screwdriver or does it mean you just push the clips down. I've tried both but still no joy. Any help you can give me to remove these clips would be great. Tia

They are a pain but you have to press on them with a long screwdriver. I started with side ones and bottom last. I think you push on the grill inwards. There are three tabs on each clip which are hard to see so unless you release all it will not move. You have to start at the top and work down, not middle first.

@@evacoutdoors5867 i went to the local Mercedes specialist, he removed the old grill with the air scoops on it in 10 mins from the car. inserted the new diamond grill in the next 3 mins. but he did not remove the air scoops from old grill & put it back with diamond grill, I noticed that only after I returned home. now I am wondering what happened. does air scoops need to go back in with the new grill? thx!

@@a1reza I put them back with mine, I don’t recall they are part of the grill, they are behind and only removed to access it.

Does anyone know if the AMG Gle 43 coupe 2018 have a sensor in the grill , or just the bumpers , I got my new grill put in at a body shop now am having sensor dirty notification pop up over and over even after I cleaned them , any suggestions ?

There is only the distronic behind the emblem but the sensor is not in the grill. Also the camera. If they have removed the bumper then they must have done something.
