This is one of the first lyrics ever, written by Andrew Dorff, who years later wrote, “My Eyes” and “Neon Light,” for Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney’s “Save It for a Rainy Day,” and Hunter Hayes's, “Somebody’s Heartbreak,” his second Number One single. Others who have recorded his songs include Martina McBride (“Ride”), Ronnie Dunn (“Bleed Red”). Andrew's father and I wrote the music. I think it's Andrew's first record release.

I can remember listening to this song on Radio Delilah back when my ex wife and I were just about to part ways. It was very prophetic, unfortunately, but that was 13 years ago. It still is a good song and it brings back some memories for me.
