I went custom cutting one summer from KS to N.D. We had 4 Gleaner G 20' diesel combines. One day we cut 500 acres with the 4 machines. Back then that was a great day. Tried to cut 400 acres @ day.

I remember as a kid when these combines were first made. I couldn't believe the price of $20,000 with both heads. Two local farmers bought one. Neat video!

I have one that looks just like that , lots of memories riding along with my grandpa. I’ll be hauling it to scrap soon, unless someone wants it for parts.

I know where a G sits could be used for parts. Has the 190 Chalmers diesel in it, hasn't been run for several years. When parked it had brand new tires put on it.

The old Flag Ship of the Silver Fleet! In '68 they had the E3, a one year production then the K. Not much difference from an E3 to a K. The G was a great combine. and the one you have is especially clean.

You could get a 23 foot grain header. I always thought that was funny because you could get a 24 foot for the C and C2.
